The CR-V e:FCEV combines a state-of-the-art fuel cell module and battery plug-in charging, enabling emission-free city driving and the flexibility of rapid hydrogen refueling for longer adventures.

Fuel Cell Stack Technology
The fuel cell stack is the heart of the fuel cell system. To generate electricity, compressed hydrogen gas circulates through the fuel cell stack, turning the fuel's chemical energy into emission-free electrical energy that powers the motor—creating reliable power for the journey ahead.
Hydrogen Storage System
Instead of the gasoline tank found on conventional vehicles, the CR-V e:FCEV carries dual high-pressure hydrogen tanks that offer compact energy storage and energy conversion that only releases water as a by-product.
